Chief Bill Lynch's Message
Welcome to the Kings County Office of Emergency Management web-site. Our mission
is to effectively coordinate emergency preparedness, mitigation, response and
recovery efforts for the Kings Operational Area in order to protect lives and
property in the event of a natural or man-made disaster. Here you will find information
for community and individual disaster and emergency preparedness.
You will learn about what our communities are doing to prepare for, respond to,
recover from, and mitigate all disasters regardless of cause, and you will also
find information to help you and your family to be prepared for emergencies.
Being prepared is a responsibility for each and every one of us. It can make
a difference in your life!
