Sometimes
some of the best preparation we can have
is in keeping ourselves healthy and connected
to the those around us. In reconnecting
with the special people in our lives, we
may inadvertently be creating new resources
that we can fall back on in the event of
an emergency. It could also be an opportunity
for you to educate someone new on emergency
preparedness.
So,
on December 26 after the hustle, bustle,
and traveling from house to house making
sure you have visited everyone in your family,
plan a relaxing activity to release any tension
and/or stress you may have suppressed on
this "the most wonderful time of the
year."
We
at the Kings County Office of Emergency
Management wish all of you
a very Merry
Christmas and a prosperous New Year,
and remember…
Be Responsible - Be Ready
- Be Prepared!
